Images of Gods, Guns, and Inquisitors. A Dark Fantasy Comic Book filled with mythological themes in 28 pages of high-quality artwork.

God Summoner is a dark fantasy story following a young girl named Adelice, who wields the power of the Summoner. That, combined with her family’s connection to the other world known as Zaros, means she’s capable of bringing its God rulers to her own reality – and that makes her very desirable for our antagonist. Lagouvardos’ art is totally finished and everything you want from a dark fantasy comic, so check that out over at the campaign page. It’s the second Kickstarter outing for this crew as they launch the first of six 28-page chapters in the God Summoner series.

Typhoon Days | Act One

typhoon days

Creators: Francesca Carità (artist), Niccolò Favilli (writer)
Goal: $9,547
End date: April 14, 2021
Goodies: The digital version is $12, the physical version is $24, and tiers include artbooks, soundtracks, and more.

A sociopolitical what-if thriller in a fictional distant land, graphic novel, volume one.

Typhoon Days is a historical fiction/what-if story set in 1960’s Hong Kong; a walled city that’s both a Chinese territory and within the boundaries of a British colony. On the macro, everyone from the CIA and the Hong Kong police are vying for control as the Cold War rages. As the story zooms in, Typhoon Days highlights how far these factions are willing to go to get what they want as local kids are tempted into drug-dealing and – stunt acting? Check out a preview of Carità’s animated style, then support this first of two acts.

THE TWIN BLADES

the twin blades

Creators: Jarreed Luján (writer), Julio Suarez (artist), Rocco Langg (colors), Gabriela Downie (letterer)
Goal: $3,500
End date: April 15, 2021
Goodies: A PDF is $6, a physical version is $12, and higher tiers include script reviews, creator workshops, and more.

A 44 page action comic that blends sci-fi and Aztec mythology into a story about family, believing in yourself, and magical swords.

In The Twin Blades, the fate of the suns and their subsequent Earths is totally dependent on the will of the gods, and the outcome of their conflicts. This time, things were different. The god Xolotl infused his divinity into two siblings. For awhile, their responsibilities were minimal. One trained hard to live up to her duty, and the other followed his passion for teaching. But that changes when they’re challenged by another warrior whose master wants to create a new universe. See how it all goes down in this 44-page comic.
