It's almost quitting time here in EDT so let's leave the week with something FUN for a change. Why just do a comic book based on a classically of it time TV show when you can reinvent it as an acid trip that bends time and space? And hooray for licensors who let you get away with it. Miami Vice: Remix by Joe Casey and Jim Mahfood is anything but a dull TV show comic...it's an audacious tale on tropes and icons, and a gem in the Lion Forge line-up.

This is sad but not surprising—given the insane rise in real estate prices in San Francisco, it was only a matter of time before the Cartoon Art Museum, which occupied a spacious and accessible spot near Market Street has been evicted so its space can be converted to something expensive and greedy. The museum will stay open until June 28th, and in a release they note that the move was not unexpected and they had already begun preparations, just like Cutter and Skywise.

The Archie gang has teamed with Predator, Kiss, Glee, the Punisher and many other things over the years, so why not Sharknado? The Syfy movie about a tornado full of sharks has quietly taken over the imaginations of people coast to coast so it is only natural that the 'Nado would touch down in Riverdale! For those more worried about the fuure of this nation, relax, it is only a one-shot, written by the director of the Shaknado trilogy Anthony C. Ferrante with art by Archie's Dan Parent, who often writes these milestone issues but he's multi-talented.

Dark Horse's July comics previews are out and here they are with Mignola, Kindt, the return of Barb Wire, The New Deal, a new graphic novel by Jonathan Case, the collected Astro Boy, the final book of Oh My Goddess and MORE. I haven't really looked at the Dark Horse line in a while, and they are putting out some good stuff.

Looks like something of a shakeup is underway at Image, as Director of Business Development Ron Richards has also departed the company following Jennifer DeGuzman's exit last week. Richards—formerly a mainstay at the website/podcast iFanboy and the co-organizer of Morrison Con— wrote about it in a post at Medium:

Writer: Jeff Lemire Artist: Mico Suayan Colorist: David Baron Letters: David Lanphear Bloodshot has had difficulty finding his identity at Valiant since the relaunch of the company back in 2012. The title...
