Having torn through politicians and teen idols, Bluewater is launching a new biographical comics series, this one focusing on great artists like Vincent Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso. The series marks a new partnership between comic-book publisher and German artist Willi Bloess (German: Willie Blöß) and Bluewater.

Seth's cover for the first volume of Lemony Snicket's new series of books has been released, along with Snicket's warning: “I suggest extreme caution … The distribution of this cover image should be on a need-to-know basis, limited to librarians, booksellers, readers, e-readers, educators, journalists, muck-rakers, bloggers, tweeters, men, women, and children.”

A while ago we alerted you to Faith Erin Hicks' experimental HUNGER GAMES comics adaptation (PUBLISH THIS SOMONE PLEASE!!!!!!), but she just completed a new one about Hunger Games for Tor.com. And this time it's very, very personal...and sobering.
