Prize season is underway, and here’s the sixth annual Cartoonist Studio Prize shortlists, courtesy of  Slate Book Review and the Center for Cartoon Studies, Winners will be announced on March 30.

10 nominees were selected in each of two categories, print and web. I’m proud to say we spotlighted several of the webcomics shortlist in our “Free Comics” feature last year, so time to bring that back!
