Our own Brandon Schatz might disagree with that “Set … your own days off” pitch but, it’s still a fun business.

A little Googling detective work reveals this is most like The Zone Comics. I don’t know the name of the owner, but it sounds like a tough situation and I wish him (or her) the best.

  1. You’d want to do a lot of looking at the financials, but if it is as represented, that’;s substantially cheaper than a new start-up would be, and you’d have at least some initial clientele to get you over the initial hump.

  3. This breaks my heart. 10 years invested in their passion. I wish this retailer the best for their situation — both financially and for their family illness. Family always comes first.

    Zone Comics is located on a main street.
    There is a parochial school nearby, as well as a library.
    Google maps is unclear about access to the train station. How easy is it to cross the railroad tracks?

    The market is robust. The nearest competitor is 15 minutes away by car.

  5. ooooo, near a library. Be still my heart. That’s a huge potential audience of library goers, including the folks who just go there to poop and the people who go there to look at porn.
