War has arrived at Winterfell. The much-anticipated Battle of Winterfell hits HBO this Sunday, when the Starks and their allies go up against the Night King and his army of White Walkers to defend their stronghold — and the whole of Westeros. Game of Thrones S8E3 reportedly features the longest-ever battle sequence in cinematic history. According to Entertainment Weekly, it also features the most major Thrones characters together since the series premiere in 2011.
On Wednesday, The Hollywood Reporter released new photos from episode three and despite carefully-laid plans, it appears this fight won’t be in favor of our heroes. Check out the photos below and if you see your fave, perhaps prepare to say goodbye to them this weekend. After all, no one is ever really safe on Game of Thrones and this battle is huge.
