Fifty Years of Judge Dredd showcases stories from across five decades, which follow the Judge as he maintains law and order on the streets of Mega-City One.
Since John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra created him half a century ago, Judge Dredd has acted as judge, jury, and executioner on the streets of the dystopian city of Mega-City One. These stories have ranged from sci-fi satire to war story, from epic adventure to iconic horror.Fifty Years of Judge Dredd is an oversized omnibus collection of Dredd’s greatest cases from the pages of 2000 AD, alongside interviews with some of the greatest talents in comics to have brought him to life. Available in standard hardback or webshop-exclusive slipcase editions, each slipcase is individually numbered and showcases exclusive new artwork by Henry Flint, inspired by Ezquerra’s original character design sketch.
This will be a staple for any Judge Dredd fan, as well as a great jumping-on point for newcomers. Fifty Years of Judge Dredd will be available on February 11th, 2027, in both standard hardback and webshop-exclusive slipcase editions. It will feature forty of Dredd’s best complete stories along with brand-new interviews by Eisner Award-winning writer Michael Molcher (I Am The Law). Some of Dredd’s most notable creatives will be featured here, including John Wagner, Mick McMahon, Jock, and many more.
Fifty Years of Judge Dredd will also feature work by creators such as Brian Bolland, Cam Kennedy, Duncan Fegredo, RM Guera and more. Each strip has been carefully selected to showcase Judge Dredd’s great versatility as a character and how it resulted in a fifty-year long run that’s still going strong.
