Preview: The Hit #1 by Bryce Carlson and Vanesa R. Del Rey

A few days ago, some art from the upcoming title HIT by Bryce Carlson and Vanesa R. Del Rey stormed the internet. Published by Boom! Studios, it’s described as a tale in the vein of classic Los Angeles pulp noir, a dark crime tale filled with nasty criminals and the men who hunt them down.

HIT is set in 1955, and here’s a NEW preview of Del Rey’s art that shows why she’s got the smoky, sultry look down pat.

Raymond Chandler and James Ellroy fans, this is for you.

The colors are by Archie Van Buren.

HIT #1 is on sale September 11.

Cannot wait for this book! Way to go Bryce!
