AfterShock Comics, the line of periodical comics that launches next month, has made a couple of new hires. Stephan Nilson has been hired as Publishing Operations Manager, and Lisa Y. Wu has joined up as social media coordinator. 
 
Nilson’s background includes writing and editing for DC Comics, Image Comics, IDW Publishing, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros, Universal and he spent the past three years as Production Manager for a video and animation production house in Tampa, Florida, working for clients such as Miller Lite, Adidas, and Strider bikes’ Team Japan.
 
Wu has worked for clients in the Virginia area, in addition to acting, modeling and writing for the online pop culture blog, “God Hates Geeks.”
 
“As the team continues to grow with some of the most sought-after creators and artists in the business, we’re also onboarding the best in marketing and operations,” said Editor-in-Chief Mike Marts. “Both Stephan and Lisa are prime examples of the types of industry leaders we’re looking to expand with, and we’re extremely pleased they’re part of the AfterShock family.”
 
AfterShock launches in just a few weeks with titles Three titles rolling out in December.

• Replica, debuting December 2 from writer Paul Jenkins (Batman: The Dark Knight, Spider-Man, Wolverine: Origin) and artist Andy Clarke (Batman, Judge Dredd);

·        InSeXts , debuting December 9 from writer Marguerite Bennett ( Batgirl, Sleepy Hollow, A-Force ) and artist Ariela Kristantina ( Wolverines, Deep State );
·        SuperZero , debuting December 16 from writers Amanda Conner ( Harley Quinn ) and Jimmy Palmiotti ( Deadpool , Jonah Hex , Daredevil ), and artist Rafael de Latorre;
·        Dreaming Eagles , debuting December 30 from Ennis and Simon Coleby ( 2000 AD , The Authority ).
