You wouldn’t necessarily expect the author of the moody, haunting fantasy comic Out of Hollow Water to be a cracking good comedic cartoonist, but Anna Archie Bongiovanni definitely is.
Grease Bats is part of Autostraddle’s Saturday Morning Cartoons series, which has four rotating cartoonists (we’ll get to the other three don’t worry), Grease Bats is about two queer best friends and their adventures in life and love.
Andy and Scout live in a world of gender fluid relationships, generally hang-up-less sex, and all around optimism, but that doesn’t mean people can’t wear too much glitter and inadvisable microjorts, have mixed reactions to sexcapades and do other amusing things. People are funny sometimes, and Grease Bats is all about that. OH YEAH and definitely NSFW.
