Let’s get this straight: DC is anti marriage, not anti GAY marriage

When the news broke earlier that co-writers JH Williams II AND W. Haden Blackman (and not just Williams, as some sites reported) had quit Batwoman due to editorial interference, it was clearly going to be a big issue for the day. What’s been most worrying THOUGH is how quickly people have attempted to spin this […]

Nice Art: Seth at Adam Baumgold

Manhattan’s Adam Baumgold Gallery will be hosting a show called Seth – It’s a Good Life If You Don’t Weaken starting on the 9/10 and as is their tradition they have a pretty amazing gallery of all the art in the show up on their website. Valiant goes to Mexico with Kamite publishing deal

Valiant has just announced it’s teaming with Mexican publisher Kamite to distribute a new line of Spanish-language versions of the Valiant line. The reasoning appears to be because Templesmith has allegedly gone MIA, and stopped responding to emails from writer J Michael Straczynski or his Joe’s Comics team.

Chuck Forsman’s TEOTFW being adapted into video series in the UK

I don’t know why this news hasn’t been picked up at every entertainment blog everywhere. A comic book has been optioned for a live action “tv” show. Actually not just optioned: THE SHOW IS IN PRODUCTION! And PHOTOS OF THE STARS ARE ONLINE. Granted, there are a few quirks that make this news somehow less […]

In a letter posted to his website today, JH Williams III has announced that he and co-writer W. Haden Blackman have quit Batwoman due to editorial interference. He cites being blocked from telling several stories he wanted to tell as being the reason for leaving – most crucially that DC told him that he would […]
