Marvel has announced “Fantastic Four: World’s Greatest Week” for the week of January 8th through 16th, 2019. The eight-day week will celebrate the recently-returned first family of comics in all of their glory, with special videos, podcasts, trivia, and exclusive merch. Fantastic Four #6, which lands on the 16th and kicks off a new Doctor Doom-centric storyline, will also sport the first of four ‘mystery variants.’
Four issues into the relaunched series, the return of the FF under the direction of writer Dan Slott and artists Sara Pichelli and Stefano Caselli has become a real bright spot in Marvel’s lineup. If you’re not currently reading it, it’s worth catching up on.

Marvel will also be celebrating over 50 years of the Fantastic Four with special variant covers showcasing the team’s most memorable antiheroes! Featuring stunning art by Marcos Martin, Adi Granov, Marko Djurdjevic, and more, these variant covers will be on over 20 select titles at your favorite comic shops this December. And on January 16, as the culmination of FANTASTIC FOUR: WORLD’S GREATEST WEEK, Marvel will be releasing the first of four all-new mystery variants, starting with “The Herald of Doom” storyline in Fantastic Four #6 by Dan Slott and Aaron Kuder!
