It’s the last day of the inaugural Funko Fair and it’s all about DC Comics characters. This year marks the Wonder Woman 80th Anniversary and Funko is celebrating the milestone with a line of new figures paying tribute highlighting the eclectic fashion choices of Diana Prince.
Though lambasted at the time, the Mod-Spy era of Wonder Woman has a fond place in fans. George Pérez‘s acclaimed run from the ’80s also gets some love with a figure sporting armor from the “Challenge of the Gods” storyline I don’t think anyone expected to see Wonder Woman’s belts and biker shorts look to be immortalized in a Funko figure. The costume debuted in the ’90s storyline “The Contest” from writer William Messner-Loebs and artist Mike Deodato that saw Diana lose her title to Amazon warrior Artemis.
In addition Funko revealed new figures from CW’s The Flash (most notably villains Godspeed and Bloodwork) as well as Funko’s first ever Pop! Vinyl Comic Cover. Plus, just in time for the Snyder Cut arriving on HBO Max later this year, some Justice League DC Pop! Pins.
