What do you expect from a comic about scientists filming their sexual exploits with alien races? Black Bag cover variants designed for the 18 and older crowd, that’s what. Vault Comics has revealed that Money Shot #1 will get not one, but two hilariously sexy variants that will be delivered in specially designed black poly-bags to obscure the adult content underneath.

Written by Tim Seeley (Revival, DC’s Grayson), co-scripted by Sarah Beattie, and drawn by Rebekah Isaacs, the story is set in the future where space travel is expensive and largely ignored. Christine Ocampos, the inventor of the Star Shot teleportation device, decides to travel to new worlds with her science team to engage with local aliens—intimately. Not only will she…explore… other species, but she will also film it for a jaded earth populace in need of new internet entertainment. The series also features colors by Kurt Michael Russell, letters by Crank!, and designs by Tim Daniel.

The first Black Bag variant will feature art by the comic’s writer and co-creator Seeley and the second variant is by artist Mirka Andolfo (Unnatural). What fans will see has yet to be revealed, but we’re sure it will be naughty, fun, and perfect for the scientists-turned-pornstar vibe of the book.

Money Shot #1 hits your local comic shop on October 23. Both Black Bag cover variants will ship the same day as the more PG-13 covers. The first issue will also have a Vault Vintage B Cover by Nathan Gooden and Daniel that pays tribute to John Byrne and Joe Sinnott’s iconic cover to Fantastic Four #220 (Marvel Comics, 1980).
