Dig out your best Vampirella sketch because it may be the perfect pinup for the next Vampirella comic. Dynamite has announced a contest perfect for aspiring artists and fans of the Daughter of Draculon.

With the character’s 50th anniversary this month, Vampirella #1 is breaking records. Written by Christopher Priest and drawn by Ergün Gündüz, the first issue has already sold more than 130,000 copies, making it the publisher’s best-selling full price book in their 15-year history.

Over the next 10 days, artists are encouraged to create illustrations or other visual media of Vampirella and then post them Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook with the hashtag #VampiFanArt. Don’t forget to tag Dynamite! The publisher will then repost to its Instagram and on July 12, the post with the most likes will be published in Vampirella #2, which is due out this August and features covers by Stanley “Artgerm” Lau. You can also include other characters and elements from Vampi’s world such as Pantha, Adam Van Helsing, Pendragon, Evily, Draculina, and Lilith.

The iconic character has been drawn by some of the top artists in the industry including Frank Frazetta, Joe Quesada, Jimmy Palmiotti, Joe Jusko, Ed McGuinness, Amanda Connor, Lucio Parrillo, Terry Dodson, Joseph Michael Linsner, Maria Sanapo, and many more. Could your name be added to this prestigious list in a Vampirella comic?

For more on the contest, head to Dynamite’s website. Look for Vampirella #1 on July 17 and #2 in August.
