Jane Foster’s been through a lot lately. She had cancer, and then she didn’t. She was Thor, and then she wasn’t. Now, after witnessing the deaths of Brunnhilde and the rest of the Valkyries during the War of the Realms, Jane’s bonded with the All-Weapon and taken up Brunnhilde’s mission. As the new—and the last—Valkyrie, Jane Foster is tasked with escorting fallen warriors to their eternal reward in the afterlife, and unfortunately her first escortee is someone she knows well: Heimdall, former gatekeeper of Asgard, who was killed by Bullseye with Brunnhilde’s former sword. But Jane Foster is a new kind of Valkyrie, and she and Heimdall’s trip to Valhalla doesn’t exactly go as expected…
