Ubisoft has hosted several video presentations over the past year, but fans expected this Ubisoft Forward event to be the most exciting yet, since it was scheduled during the week of E3. The video game publisher didn’t disappoint; today’s Ubisoft Forward featured a slew of game updates and some major game reveals. Here’s the most exciting content that came out of the event.

Rainbow Six Extraction

Ubisoft’s event started out with the official debut of Rainbow Six Extraction. The game brings the extractors from the incredibly popular Rainbow Six Siege to the co-op shooter genre. The video doesn’t do a lot to distinguish the title from the many other shooters on the market, but we’ll see how it performs when it releases September 16.

Rocksmith Plus

Ubisoft Forward viewers may not have been the target audience for educational software, but Rocksmith Plus seems like a really effective way to learn how to play the guitar.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla DLC

Ubisoft shared details about the DLC for their latest game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise and revealed that for the first time they’d be releasing new content over multiple years. That may signal that we shouldn’t expect a brand-new Assassin’s Creed until 2023.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope

Mario + Rabbids was a huge hit on Switch, the best-selling game in its launch year not made by Nintendo. So a sequel was likely, but this title looks much larger in scope than Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. The developers clearly weren’t interested in making the same game twice, they went all out to create an entirely new, more epic experience. Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope arrives in 2022.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

The “one more thing” of this year’s Ubisoft Forward was Massive Entertainment’s long-gestating game based on James Cameron’s space fantasy. The cinematic trailer didn’t tell us much about the gameplay, but it sure looks pretty. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora set to release in 2022, the same year as Avatar 2.
