2017 has thus far been a fantastic year for video games. Even the ones based on our favorite comic books and characters have been part of the onslaught of goodness that’s opened the year. From Walking Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy, to DC comics characters knocking each other into famous landmarks of the world; it’s a great time to love video games based on comics. Today, two new trailers were released by WB Interactive and Telltale Games, respectively, and somehow get us even more hyped than ever.

The third part of “Shattered Alliances” dives a bit deeper into Supergirl’s role in the upcoming DC Comics fighting game, Injustice 2. It seems as though the destruction of Krypton will be a touchy subject between Supergirl’s allegiances to her cousin Kal-El and the puny humans of Earth. The trailer also shows the first footage of Black Adam’s return to the game showing off a new animation for his super move. It was nice knowing you Kahndaq.

Injustice 2 launches for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on May 16, 2017.

(Note: Trailer below contains spoilers for episodes 1-2 of Walking Dead: A New Frontier)

Much closer than that is the third episode of The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier. We raved about the series two-part debut and have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter as we’re set to find out what happened between series protagonist Javi and his brother that drove his sibling to become the leader of militant survival group, The New Frontier. It’s an intense trailer which points to the series connecting to the world of Robert Kirkman’s comic book series in even more ways.

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier’s upcoming Episode 3: ‘Above the Law‘ will be available to download for season pass holders and ala carte on March 28 via PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC/Steam, iOS, and Android-based devices.
