With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice about to come out next week, and everyone talking Captain America: Civil War, the latest X-Men film is getting lost in the shuffle a bit. The fairly bland marketing thus far hasn’t helped much, but here’s the studio giving it another go in order to get fans talking. There’s just some staleness to the proceedings that feel a little hard to shake, I hope to be wrong.
It’s the Four Horseman vs. the X-Men led by Mystique (I guess!), with more Quicksilver than you’d expect.
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on Memorial Day weekend.
Haha, you can’t fool me. This is “X-Men: Civil War” Or it’s just another superhero vs. superhero with a villain thrown in flick. That appears to be the theme of this year’s crop of comic book movies.
