Well, it’s a morning of trailers I guess. Following the Deadpool sequel trailer from just a few moments ago, now Netflix has released a trailer, popping up first over at Vulture, for the second season of Jessica Jones; the follow-up round of episodes to what was easily their biggest critical hit within the streaming giant’s collaboration with Marvel Television.

Things haven’t gone swimmingly over the past year, with both Iron Fist and The Defenders being met with either scorn or indifference, and The Punisher just kind of came and went (I still haven’t made the time to watch it…oops…). But more of their hard-drinking, super-powered PI is just what the doctor ordered.

Most notable about this season is that every single episode is directed by a woman. A huge step forward for this genre, and fitting given the show’s themes. And the season finds star Krysten Ritter reuniting with her cast mates from the previous season (Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, zeal Darville, even David Tennant!), as well as new additions in Janet McTeet and J.R. Ramirez.

Here’s the log-line on it:

Jessica Jones is back as New York City’s tough-as-nails private investigator. Although this time, the case is even more personal than ever before. Fueled by a myriad of questions and lies, she will do whatever it takes to uncover the truth

Jessica Jones Season 2 arrives on Netflix March 8th.
