Welcome back fellow toy-o-philes to another weekly(ish) installment of my favorite picks for newly released or soon to be released nerdy toys. I’ve scoured the internets and come across what lovely pieces of plastic have caught my eye and hope they will catch your fancy.
Without further text diarrhea, here are the toys:
Funko keeps themselves very busy in the merchandise department. As part of their Pocket Pop! Keychain series, be prepared for the introduction of the Fallout game’s Vault Boy and Power Armor, Skyrim’s Dragonborn, Marvel’s Civil War: Crossbones and Black Panter, and finally the Peanuts members Snoopy and Charlie Brown. All will be releasing throughout March, April, and May.
Ever said to yourself, “Geez self, I sure do love the emojiis that the various social networks I worship can offer. Too bad I can’t make those faces in real life. I guess I’ll stick to just saying things in real life like ‘lol’ and ‘wif.’” Well now you don’t have to fret; MyMojiis “combine beloved characters with the utility and the fun of collecting!” Some to look out for are the likes of DC’s Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Cyborg, Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, and Harley Quinn. I never thought I’d see the day where Batman makes the “sly” face. Also to come are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, My Little Pony, and those adorable scurvy riddled Minions. All will be available in blind bags for $3.99 apiece. DC and TMNT will release in April, where My Little Pony and Minions will release in May.
Lastly, Blizzard Entertainment and Funko have teamed up to celebrate the upcoming release of the team-based shooter Overwatch with the POP! Vinyls. You can loot yourself this Tracer, Reaper, Widowmaker, or perhaps this 6” Super Sized Winston. All are due to release this May.
