In the new original graphic novel, The Avant-Guards: Down to the Wire, the story of the art student misfits who joined together to create their school’s first basketball team (which began in the 8-issue ongoing Avant-Guard series) will be concluded!
The Avant-Guards: Down to the Wire OGN, published by BOOM! Box, reuintes the creative team from the ongoing comic and is written by Carly Usdin (Heavy Vinyl), with art by Noah Hayes (Wet Hot American Summer), colors by Eleonora Bruni (Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Willow) and letters by Ed Dukeshire (Once & Future).
In The Avant-Gaurds: Down to the Wire, the team is facing the last game of the season, the need to fundraise, and some maybe-unwanted parental support. On top of all that, Charlie and Liv have to figure out what being “Charlie and Liv” really means!
The OGN will be available at your local comic shop on September 30th, 2020, and at other bookstores on October 6th, 2020.
