This week DC has been revealing new looks for its core characters, including some startling fashion changes. The new looks have been revealed in various places We've cobbled it all up for you below but here's the shorter version:

§ Jack Katz, 87, creator of the oddball self published space fantasy epic The First Kingdom, and Golden Age artist, is indiegogoing a new project, called, encouragingly, Beyond the Beyond. It will run to some 800 pages, but he's good for it. The tale is streamlined from an riginal 1000+ outline, but his agent told him he might not have time to finish it. Not much is revealed of the story, and the art shown is tiny, but...it is certain to be wild.

  Great Hera! Variety has reported that Michelle Maclaren will direct Warner Bros' "Wonder Woman" standalone motion picture. There's still a lot we don't know about the film aside from the fact that Gal Gadot...

Word on the street of late has been that a female director had been approached to direct the 2017 Gal Gadot Wonder Woman movie. Who could it be? Lena Dunham? Miranda July? Well now a name has emerged and it's Michelle McLaren. If you're a fastidious credit watcher you've seen McLaren's name in the credits of The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad. With a resume like that how could she NOT direct a superhero movie? IN particular, she directed some of the most brutal and riveting Breaking Bad episodes, showing she knows her way around a meth lab at least.

Revealed at the SDCC Warner Bros panel at Hall H today, you can now get your blinkers on Gal Gadot in costume as Wonder Woman.

Sensation Comics, you may recall, is the digital-first Wonder Woman series that will feature diverse folk doing diverse stories about everyone's favorite star-spangled Amazon. Digital comics will be collected into print issues every few months.
