Spin Master celebrates BATMAN FOREVER 30th anniversary with retro action figures

Hard to believe this year marks the 30th anniversary of the film Batman Forever. After director Tim Burton’s much darker take on the Caped Crusader with Batman Returns that not only upset parents but even McDonald’s and its Happy Meal promotions, Warner Bros. opted for a much lighter take for the sequel enlisting Joel Schumacher to take over the helm.

Though not exactly warmly received by comic fans, Batman Forever was an undeniable commercial success. In the years since, the film has garnered better appreciation even generating its own memes. And let’s be honest, every time you hear Seal’s “Kiss from a Rose” Batman Forever is the firs thing that comes to mind.
