PLEASE NOTE WE ARE A SPONSOR AND PARTICIPANT IN THIS EVENT! HYPE ALERT!

That said we wouldn’t be involved if we didn’t feel it is an excellent line-up and the conference is sure to make a lot of headlines.

ICV2 has added major new panelists and moderators to the roster of speakers at the ICv2 Conference on Comics, Media, and Digital, being held in association with Comic-Con International in San Diego. This event will bring together the numbers, the thought leaders, and the people that make a difference in a discussion of the present and future of comics, media, and digital.
Here are the recent additions to the speaker roster for the Conference:
For the discussion of "Selling Comics in Hollywood-State of the Market," ICv2 has added Anne Thompson, a veteran Hollywood journalist who’s had stints at Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Entertainment Weekly, and L.A. Weekly. She’ll be moderating the discussion between previously announced panelists: agent Scott Agostoni; Nick Harris, Co-head of Media Rights, International Creative Management; and Rick Jacobs, Producer and Manager, Circle of Confusion.
To the panel discussion on "Digital Comics and Transmedia Properties," ICv2 has added DC Entertainment for Warner Bros. Executive Vice President John Rood and Panelfly CEO Ed Lang to the panelists. Comic editor, journalist, and commentator Heidi MacDonald (The Beat) will moderate this discussion among Rood, Lang, and the previously announced panelists: IDW CEO Ted Adams; Viz Media SVP Alvin Lu, iVerse CEO Michael Murphey, and Dark Horse Entertainment CEO Mike Richardson.
And to the discussion on the future of comics, "Comics, Paper and Digital, at Comic-Con 2013," ICv2 has added DC SVP Bob Wayne and GeekChicDaily CEO Peter Levin to the panelists. Publishers Weekly Senior News Editor Calvin Reid, who’s played pivotal roles in the coverage of both graphic novels and digital books, will moderate this discussion between Wayne, Levin, and the previously announced panelists: ComicsPro President Joe Field, Diamond VP Bill Schanes, comiXology CEO David Steinberger and comic writer and editor Mark Waid.
ICv2 CEO Milton Griepp will also present the ICv2 White Paper on the state of the comics market, paper and digital, at the Conference.
