Preview week! Panels are coming starting tomorrow and the flow floor map and exhibitors list for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con has just arrived!

Unlike last year’s mystery of “What will be in the Diamond Booth space?” there are few shocks from this years. And it’s in factt very similar to ’25, which you can find here.

Of course, I did a minute examination of both and found a few changes:

• Sideshow is back! In the Diamond spot! Sideshow ditched their very large, lavish booth a few years back, but they’ll have a new smaller spot. Hopefully some great models, though.

• Sony is out and Thrilljoy is in, over at booth 4845, next to the tragically orphaned DC booth. It’s also just a few steps away from Funko. Thrilljoy was founded by Funko’s former president, Brian Mariotti. So that should be fun.

• The DSTLRY booth is now the Neon Ichiban booth. Gotta keep up with the times!

• Otherwise all the usual suspects seem to be there, Image, Dark Horse, D&Q, Fantagraphics, IDW. Boom! Studios has its own spot separate from the Penguin Random House Pavilion in case you were wondering. (I was.)

Over the years, the show floor has become very much like a city state with various regions – the publishers, the small press pavilion, the IP pavilion, the toy steppes, the anime collectibles plateau, the original art oasis. Funko still has a big booth at one end, with Blizzard at the other. And in between a large area of hungry tired people eating convention center pretzels.

The wait list for booths is long, so a Sideshow and a Thrilljoy getting in is notable. With the convention center still the same size, though, so many newer companies are still missing. I know that several manga/anime companies haven’t been able to get in, although with Anime Expo just a few weeks before, doing both shows might be redundant or logistically impossible. Viz and Udon will be at SDCC, however.

Anyway, in just a few short weeks your feed of Instagram reels and TikToks will be revaling this show floor non-stop, all San Diego Comic-Con all the time. Get ready!
