At The Vampire Lestat panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 on Friday, AMC revealed an exclusive first look at the trailer for Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned Season 1 (aka The Vampire Lestat Season 2, aka Interview with the Vampire Season 4).
In the teaser, Akasha (Sheila Atim, reprising the role from Lestat) calls all of the women in the world to where men have been gathered to seek their revenge and rid the world of men for good.

Queen of the Damned appears to pick up where The Vampire Lestat left off, with series writer Hannah Moscovitch taking over as showrunner from Rolin Jones. Prior to the teaser, the AMC panel showed a sizzle reel of Sam Reid’s electrifying performance from a one-night-only concert in New York City in June, then hosted a discussion with the show’s cast and crew.
Following the panel, AMC released a poster with the tagline, “She is the answer.”
