Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu—Danger in the Dark is set before the events of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, and it is the first time Grogu has been featured in a children’s comic book. The story is written by Delilah S. Dawson, who has written other amazing stories from the Galaxy Far, Far Away, such as Star Wars Adventures and Star Wars: Forces of Destiny, with pencils and inks by Arianna Florean (Star Wars Adventures), layouts by Mario Del Pennino, and covers by Brent Schoonover, Romon Rosanas, Juni Ba, and more.

Here’s the synopsis:

A hidden danger looms deep beneath the surface of Nevarro, and it’s up to the Mandalorian and Grogu to stop it! Joined by a courageous crew of Anzellan friends, Din Djarin and his foundling venture into the lava tubes underneath the city to defuse a crashed pirate ship, facing creepy creatures and perilous obstacles along the way. But with the planet’s safety on the line, can Grogu learn to listen to Mando’s guidance? And can Mando balance teaching Grogu with letting the little guys lead? Don’t miss this high-energy story full of humor and heart!

Mad Cave previously announced a slew of other SDCC exclusives, as well as its full programming schedule.
