Magma Comix has announced its programming schedule and exclusives for San Diego Comic-Con 2026, including a highly limited Metal Blind Box exclusive featuring original sketches and signed metal editions. The publisher will also highlight creators including Ryan “ZOKE” Preece, Norrin J. Powell, Briana Bauman, and more at booth #1709 throughout the convention.

Industry veterans John Barber (Marvel, IDW, PUG-W) and Joseph Illidge (DC, Fairsquare Graphics) are bringing the inside knowledge from Marvel and DC. Kristen Simon (Editor, Mad Cave) and Tom Waltz (Former Creative Director, IDW) will break down exactly what Mad Cave and IDW want to see from new projects, whether you’re pitching something original or chasing a licensed property. And if indie publishing and Kickstarter are calling your name, David Hedgecock (Owner, FunTimeGo) and Shannon Denton (Monster Forge, Image, Marvel) have cracked that code and they’re ready to share it. Moderated by Magma Publisher Denton J. Tipton, this is the panel aspiring creators can’t afford to miss.
