The cast and creators of King of the Hill surprised fans at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday with an appearance at Hulu Animation’s offsite activation themed around its various IPs. The group included Toby Huss, Stephen Root, Mike Judge (all pictured above), Kathy Najimy, Lauren Tom, Saladin Patterson, and Greg Daniels. They posed for photos and chatted with fans ahead of Friday evening’s series panel.
Hulu’s Animayhem activation itself is filled with themed snacks and drinks from Futurama and King of the Hill, as well as photo ops with character standees and locations from the shows. Fan favorites from the menu included meat and vegan skewers and a selection of coffee beverages courtesy of Planet Espresso and Robata Chane.
The off-site activation, which is open to the public and does not require a SDCC badge for admission, will be open on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. PT and on Sunday from 11 a.m. 4 p.m. PT. Fans can also earn some free swag, like a promotional hat themed after King of the Hill.
The newest season of King of the Hill is now streaming on Hulu.
