What does Monty Python and the Holy Grail have in common with SDCC ‘19? “Look, that rabbit’s got a vicious streak a mile wide!” Yes, Tim the Enchanter, it’s a cute, blood-stained, cuddly killer rabbit! According to Tom Vargas, director at Factory Entertainment, of all the exclusives offered this year by the company, the Monty Python Killer Rabbit Caerbannog plush topped Factory Entertainment’s 2019 preorders list.

At $15 per plush, Vargas expects its 1,000-piece inventory to sell out fairly quickly; already 250 of these (the entire pre-order allocation) have been claimed. And sales seemed steady at the Factory Entertainment Booth during Preview Night.

Vargas also expects to see brisk sales of kuzos, metal miniatures of props. Pricing starts at $10 apiece. The Back to the Future Griff Hoverboard bottle openers ($20) are also expected to sell out quickly.

“It’s the thirtieth anniversary of Back to the Future, so we’re really trying to celebrate that,” said Vargas.

Factory Entertainment also announced the return of its James Bond Golden Gun prop replica, a limited edition show-stopper offered at the company’s original opening. Designed with input by Christopher Lee and Roger Moore, the prop is a 1:1 scale replica encased in 18-carat gold. It has a number of component parts, including a fountain pen that forms the “barrel” of the replica; “slide-out” lighter; cigarette case handle and trigger housing; cuff-link trigger; and replica bullet.
