The Wired longue may have been whittled down to one day now, but EW/People magazine are sponsoring Con-X, a mini theme park for entertainment with red carpets, photo booths, and promo for American Horror Story, Captain America: Civil War and all kinds of stuff. It’s all located at Embarcadero Marina Park North which is…out back of the convention center I think. It runs Thus-Saturday from 10AM-10:30PM and Sunday 10AM-3PM.

Even more exciting, this theme park will include two stages for panels. The main one will spotlight nerdlebritties, but the “Spotlight” stage  spotlight actual comics people like Ed Brubaker, Sana Amanat, Ben Hatke and Jason Latour and many more. Comics at COmic-Con. So retro and so cool.

Entertainment Weekly’s first-ever Con-X welcomes fans to create custom, limited edition t-shirts and charge their devices at one of the super charged mobile stations. Photo opportunities will be endless! Fans can choose from the People/Entertainment Weekly Network red carpet photo booth, Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War-themed booth and FOX Home Entertainment’s American Horror Story: Hotel photo booth. Focus Features will provide 3D photo opportunities for Kubo and the Two Strings, as well as costume characters. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has partnered with Lionsgate on the new Saban’s Power Rangers movie, distributing delicious treats to the fans throughout the weekend, in addition to FOX Scream Queens Ice Cream carts on Friday from 1-5. Schedule highlights include a Harley Quinn costume contest with Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner, Q&A’s with the cast of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the cast of Teen Wolf, Lucy Lawless, Carlton Cuse, Nathan Fillion & Alan Tudyk, and many more. Evening performances by Bootie Mashups, Beats Antique, Goldfish, guest DJs Blake Anderson and Anders Home of Workaholics, as well as Super Sci-Fi Saturday Night with MeTV.

EW’s Con-X will kick-off with a SweeTARTS preview night concert featuring Troye Sivan at Horton Plaza on Wednesday, July 20. SweeTARTS will have the Follow Your TART Candy Lab at Con-X all weekend creating custom candy creations with the NEW SweeTARTS Mini Gummies for all fans.
