It seems that departed DC and comiXology digital exec Ron Perazza will be joining Marvel, CBR is reporting. Since ankling comiXology last year, many had wondered where he would end up—he worked at Marvel back in the day as Online Product Manager and oversaw their collectible card game efforts so he knows the turf. At DC he oversaw the launch of the Zuda webcomic line as well as Creative Services.
CBR didn’t know his title or provenance, but, like us, thinks it will be something digital.
Because really, what else is there?
Perazza is one of the industry’s savviest execs, so this should be an interesting one.
Good news! He’s deserves the chance to play with some of the big toys.
