A new behind-the-scenes featurette that puts the spotlight on the cast friendships of the Skywalker saga was debuted this weekend during a Rise of Skywalker panel at Brazil’s Comic Con Experience 2019 (CCXP).

The featurette features interviews with Daisy Ridley (Rey), John Boyega (Finn), and Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) in which they reflect on the friendships they’ve developed over the course of filming the sequel trilogy (with Ridley noting that The Rise of Skywalker afforded her and Isaac the opportunity to spend significant time onscreen together for the first time).

Like previously released featurettes, this video not only focuses on the upcoming The Rise of Skywalker, it also features behind-the-scenes footage from earlier films, including Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (Han Solo), and Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa) forging friendships with one another while on set for the filming of the original Star Wars trilogy, along with other famous friendships from a galaxy far, far away. Did your favorite Star Wars friendship make the cut?

Friendships shared among the cast of The Rise of Skywalker have been a significant topic of discussion lately: on November 30th, Boyega tweeted a video featuring a heartfelt letter written to his co-star, Isaac.
