Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland’s Adult Swim animated comedy Rick and Morty is back with season 4, following a drought many fans presumed would last much longer.

This season’s first five episodes aired in 2019, with the last of that batch airing in December. It resumes on May 3, 2020 which may sound like a bit of a wait, but Rick and Morty fans are well accustomed to longer, given the years of waiting in between every season. In the time since, fans have nibbled on a Rick and Morty Pringles ad, as well as an anime-inspired short to tide them over.

Per ComicBook.com, the return announcement was hidden in an April Fool’s re-airing of the just released Rick and Morty samurai short. Aptly titled “The Other Five,” you can check out the trailer below, featuring robot suits, arm growing, terrible advice and the best usage of The Boys are Back in Town in recent memory.

The show, described by Kayla Cobb as “a never-ending fart joke wrapped around a studied look into nihilism,” has risen to such popular heights that Adult Swim ordered an unprecedented 70 episodes in 2018. That announcement followed the season 3 finale, ergo, after Rick and Morty season 4 wraps, fans will still have another 60 to look forward to.
