A pair of Comixology Originals series from writer and renowned letterer Richard Starkings are coming to readers this month. The digital publisher has announced that Elephantmen 2261 Season Four, subtitled Under Each Skin, will kick off tomorrow, October 11th, with the first of five issues from writer/letterer Starkings, artist Axel Medellin, and cover artist Ian Churchill. Two weeks later, October 25th, will see the launch of Ask for Mercy Season Four. That six-issue miniseries, subtitled The Circle of Time, will be written and lettered by Starkings and illustrated by Abigail Jill Harding.

Here’s how Comixology describes Elephantmen 2261: Under Each Skin:

Duplicants. Synthetics. Robots. Hip Flask and Jack Farrell find themselves caught up in a web of intrigue surrounding the appearance of a girl by the name of Alonia and the disappearance of a former associate of Jack’s
a girl by the name of Scarlet.

And here’s the publisher’s description for Ask for Mercy: The Circle of Time:

While Ratmir and Becky return to Ratmir’s origins in Rumania, Alizarine, Mercy and Budgie have travelled back in time across the Void to Tertiarus in an attempt to stop the Kroach from attacking Earth.

Along with the new digital releases, both Elephantmen 2261 and Ask for Mercy will finally come to print for the first time from Dark Horse Comics next year. The first volume of Elephantmen 2261 will collect Seasons One and Two of that series, and will arrive in stores on Tuesday, February 21st, 2023; the first print collection of Ask for Mercy will also collect the first two seasons of that series, and is due out in stores on Tuesday, March 21st, 2023.

Both Elephantmen 2261 and Ask for Mercy launched with Comixology Originals back in 2018. The Elephantmen series originally debuted in 2006 and was published by Image Comics before making the leap to digital.
