The book, due out in June from Image Comics, imagines a world in which “someone like, say, Mark Zuckerberg” creates an army. He does so in Thumbs by created an army of tech-dependent teens to take on the government. It’s a cyberpunk adventure book in which kids are raised byMOM™ apps. It fits right in with other Image books that satirize social media–specifically Crowded. It’s also a great fit for fans of Netflix’s series Black Mirror.
Each issue of the book will span an over-sized 40 pages. Final order cutoff for the first issue, which is due June 5, is today.
