EternalCon runs all weekend at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, NY. Guests include Mick Foley, Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, Adam Kubert, Rebecca Mader, and Al Snow. There’s a big costume contest, and a film festival at the Museum’s IMAX theater.

Programming is here. I’ll be on this panel at 4:20 Saturday:

In the last few years, the demographics of comics has been changing rapidly as new readers and new creators have been flooding in, leading to a new diversity of material. What led the way for this and where is it going? Join Amanda Conner, Amy Chu, JayJay Jackson and Heidi MacDonald as they examine the changing face of comics.

This show is very much geared to the Long Island community and it gets a lot of local support. Here’s an interview with the show runner, Frank Patz. See you there on Saturday!
