The truth is coming to the whole Superman / Clark Kent situation in Superman #18.

We’ve known for a while thanks to previews both inside and outside the pages of the Brain Michael Bendis-penned Superman and Action Comics. Now, DC has given us our first glimpse of the big truthful moment from next month’s Superman #18, with our titular hero standing before a seemingly-infinite media scrum.

Between this and the Alfred Pennyworth plot point over in Tom King’s Batman, it sure seems like a lot of major developments are shaking up long-held status quos for our DC heroes, almost as if a big end / beginning for something were right around the corner…

Anyway, enjoy the art (which is above and below), courtesy of Ivan ReisJoe Prado, and Alex Sinclair. You can find it after the jump here.

The secret is out! In a story already making headlines, Superman’s family is scattered across the galaxy, and our hero must confront some of his greatest concerns about himself and his place in the galaxy. Legendary artist Ivan Reis joins writer Brian Michael Bendis as they introduce the biggest change in the Man of Steel’s life ever!
