Hitting comic shops this December, All We Ever Wanted: Stories of a Better World collects 24 inspiring stories of hope for a better future and how we as people can come together to create a bright tomorrow. Brought to you by Matt Miner (Gwar, Poser), Eric Palicki (Mine, Orphans), and Tyler Chin-Tanner (Adrenaline), the anthology features stories from Howard Mackie (Ghost Rider, Spider-Man), Ryan Lee (Inhumans, Rai) Liana Kangas (2000AD, Black AF Devil’s Dye), and a host of other top creators in comics today.

The Beat received an exclusive sneak peek at Paul Allor and Juan Romera’s entry entitled “And the Rest Is Music.” The subtle story features only two characters in a quiet conversation after the rest of humanity has seemingly disappeared. Romera’s art gorgeously captures what is left of the world while Allor’s minimal dialogue poignantly portrays a positive outlook despite the surroundings.

With a stunning cover by Ariela Kristantina and Michael Wiggam, the book promises an uplifting read, offering a welcome break from darker tales and the current unrest in the real world.

All We Ever Wanted is due out on December 12. Make sure to tell your favorite comic shop to get their orders in by the end of October (Diamond Order Code OCT181514).
