Picture + Panel
Here’s how the press release describes the Picture + Panel event series:
“Picture + Panel is an all-new conversation series that brings acclaimed graphic novel creators to the Greater Boston area. Produced by the Boston Comic Arts Foundation in partnership with Porter Square Books and the Aeronaut Brewing Company, Picture + Panel provides thought-provoking discussions for adults about this unique and dynamic form of expression. These events will occur monthly on the first Monday of every month.”
The press release also includes a quote from Shelli Paroline, Executive Director of the Boston Comic Arts Foundation:
“Boston is a vital comics city. With Picture + Panel, we will host the nation’s best graphic novelists, celebrating the vibrant, dynamic community here in the city and across Massachusetts.”
And here’s an additional quote from Zach Clemente, President of the Board for the Boston Comic Arts Foundation:
“Working with BCAF, I’ve had the pleasure of deepening my roots in the Boston comics community through the celebration of comics and their makers. The inability to connect at in-person events over the last few years has made it more important than ever to gather together in conversation and shared learning. Picture + Panel will not only help rebuild our connections within the community, it will help us forge new ones so that we can grow this beautiful thing we collectively call comics.”
Hidden Worlds
The Hidden Worlds event will take place Monday, February 5th, at 7pm at the Aeronaut Brewery in Somerville, MA. You can register for the free-to-attend event at this link.
