The Perry Bible Fellowship Almanack—Nicholas Gurewitch’s award-winning comic series that bridged gaps between newspaper strips and webcomics—is turning 10 years old, and to commemorate, Dark Horse is publishing a new hardcover anniversary edition.
Indeed, The Perry Bible Fellowship Almanack: 10th Anniversary Edition will be available in comic shops on Nov. 6 and in bookstores on Nov. 19. It comes in a newly-formatted 7″ X 10″ size, and it features literally every strip from the series’ 2004 to 2007 run in alternative newspapers. As the keen may remember, this run conincided with an online explosion of popularity during the nascent age of Internet culture and by extension webcomics.
That’s all well and good, but what about the good stuff? Well, there is also exclusive content for this edition. This version will contain previously unreleased Perry Bible Fellowship comics from back in the day, as well as plenty of sketches of comics that didn’t quite pan out.
