What is Paperfilms? It’s not really a studio, but not just a loose confederation either. It consists of Jimmy Palmiotti, Amanda Conner, Justin Gray, Paul Mounts, Frank Tieri, Joanne Starer, Dave Johnson, Craig Weeden and Patrick Wedge. You probably got it after the first two names, but they function as a studio as well and you can hire them to work on projects (although I’m guessing Amanda Conner is busy for the next three or four years) and they’ve put out such well-received Kickstarter projects as Denver, Retrovirus, Queen Crab, Sex and Violence and more.
And of course, something called Harley Quinn.
Now that you got it, Paperfilms just announced their spring convention schedule:
Planet ComicCon in Kansas City [April 28th – April 30th]:
Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti and Frank Tieri
Mexico City (FCBD) [May 5th – May 7th]:
Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti
MegaCon Orlando [May 25th – May 28th]:
Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, Paul Mounts and Frank Tieri
And also an online 25% off sale on paperfilms books, posters, etc. when you use the code word CONVENTION at checkout:
