Overwatch: Tracer – London Calling, written by Mariko Tamaki and drawn by Babs Tarr, spotlights former Overwatch agent Lena Oxton, aka Tracer, as she comes out of retirement to tackle a growing crisis in London. It takes place after the events in the original game and aims to bridge the gap before the eventual release of Overwatch 2.

The hardcover will see all five bi-monthly issues of the Tracer limited series collected together in a single volume with a new cover by original series cover artist Bengal. It will launch from comic shops September 15 2021, with book stores to follow later that month. It will be $24.99.

Overwatch: Tracer – London Calling was originally serialised online September 2020 and ended last month. You can read the series for free on comiXology. A print edition of the individual issues is running monthly from Dark Horse until April.

Along with the Tracer – London Calling hardcover, Dark Horse has also announced an expanded edition of the Overwatch Anthology, which collects a series of one-shots with an additional seven new stories, and a new cover by Bengal.

Overwatch Anthology

Overwatch is an award-winning online party shooter developed by World of Warcraft and Diablo developer Blizzard Entertainment. It remains popular, although player numbers have declined since it first launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2016. It was ported to the Nintendo Switch in 2019. A sequel was announced in 2019 but has yet to be given much detail on a formal release date.

The expanded Overwatch Anthology will arrive in stores from Dark Horse Comics in November.
