Sorry, updates have been nonexistent of late…two shows back to back and three weeks without a day off took its toll. And then, right on schedule, the cable went out! Luckily it did not interfere with our enjoyment of TCM’s Director’s Spotlight month, including SUNSET BLVD., and yesterday’s heaping helping of Howard Hawks.
No cable? Unthinkable!
At least you survived the digital conversion.
Glad the stately beat manor is back in form.
Perhaps we can see the rest of the Russ Manning award nominees?
Faith and I watched Sunset Blvd. Too. That movie has to have one of the best movie openings ever.
That Kate the Great sure had guts to hang out with that leopard. Perhaps she’s calling your cable company now to make sure your service remains uninterrupted, otherwise they’ll have to chat with Baby.
Strangely enough, my wife and I finally got around to seeing Sunset Boulevard too — which we’d tivoed from TCM back in February.
Sunset Boulevard is one of those classic movies that is a joy to find when you want to watch something, but have no specific desires. (Ironically, the mansion in the movie was not located on Sunset Boulevard.)
