During the 20-year celebration of Invincible and The Walking Dead at New York Comic Con on Saturday, Robert Kirkman gave fans their first look at Omni-Man in Mortal Kombat 1 from Warner Bros. The short trailer shows him in two different fights, dominating his opponents with impossible speed and super-strength.

Actor J.K. Simmons reprises his role from the Prime Video adult animated series Invincible, based on the Skybound comic of the same name, for MK1. Check out the first-look trailer below.

Omni-Man was first referenced in Supreme: The Story of the Year by Alan Moore and Chris Sprouse, then later expanded by Kirkman and artist Cory Walker. He’s the father of Invincible and he’s a member of the Viltrumite race who works as a superhero on planet Earth. In addition to appearing in the Invincible comics, he can also be seen in SupremeNoble Causes, and Dynamo 5.

Omni-Man is a DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1, meaning he has to be acquired separately from the base game. The Kombat Pack DLC also includes comic greats Peacemaker (Invincible) and Homelander (The Boys).  However, players can purchase the Premium Edition or Kollector’s Edition for 1-week early access to the character, who debuts in November.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam or Epic Games.
