Marvel is relaunching their Guardians of the Galaxy title this January with Al Ewing (Immortal Hulk, Jane Foster: Valkyrie), Juan Cabal (All-New Wolverine, Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man), and Dean White (Black Science, Thor: God of Thunder). This announcement comes straight from Marvel’s Next Big Thing panel at New York Comic Con.
If this news sounds familiar to you, don’t fret. You’re not going crazy. Marvel relaunched the book back in January of this year with Donny Cates, Geoff Shaw, Marte Gracia, and Cory Petit. This volume of the book will end with #12 in December.
On the approach he’ll be taking with the book, Ewing said, “Guardians of the Galaxy is a high-octane spy-fi action-adventure set against an evolving backdrop of interstellar politics, intrigue and suspense. War is coming – and if the Guardians can’t stop it, they’re going to be right in the middle…”
