Despite reports to the contrary, it looks like we won’t actually get our big showdown between Marvel and DC after all when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens on March 25th.
Instead Marvel and Netflix have announced that the second season of the critically acclaimed Daredevil will instead debut on March 18th.
They released the following poster in promotion:

So instead of one jam packed weekend, we now get two in a row. The riches keep on coming!
Well, since the one is streaming and the other will be in theaters, I didn’t see it as much of a showdown in the first place.
Andrew, you’re right. And factor in that many, many more folks will watch the DCU film than will actually watch the second season of Daredevil.
