Nagata Kabi’s My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness was one of 2017’s most startling graphic novels, a confessional manga about bulimia, coming out and the struggle for intimacy in a society that frowns on homosexuality. It was named one of 2017’s Best Graphic Novels by the PW team and the highly relatable story found a ready audience among US manga fans.
But there’s more to her story. Kabi’s sequel, My Solo Exchange Diary, is coming in 2018 from Seven Seas in June

The first book was excellent so I’m super excited for this. Hope she’s making a ton of money to go with that critical acclaim. Or failing that, living well at least. It’ll be a first day buy for me.
