There’s a new and very different Batman cartoon coming out on DVD and the hype train just pulled up.
Batman: Ninja is a Batman anime by director Jumpei Mizusaki that takes the Bat clan to feudal Japan to battle the Joker, Harley Quinn and… was that Grodd in the trailer?

This is as complete a redesign as you’re going to see and… you know what? You’re better off watching the trailer than reading me describe it. Suffice it to say, it’s striking.
